Hi, my name is Fatemeh!
I am a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft Research, Redmond, where I work on Data-Centric ML and Muktimodal Learning. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, University of Washington. I was a member of GRAIL, advised by Prof. Linda Shapiro and collaborated closely with Prof. Ranjay Krishna. During my Ph.D. I developed cutting-edge computer vision and multimodal technologies to tackle real-world challenges in biomedical AI.
During my Ph.D. I interned at Truveta (2024) and Zippin (2022). Before my Ph.D., I earned my Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. From 2017 to 2019, I was a research assistant at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences.
